Scout D44's?
« on: December 05, 2010, 10:29:59 AM »
I found some d44 axles from a 4 cyl scout, 2 rear & 1 front - $250, not sure what year. From what I read on here, these will work on a YJ, am I correct?

Thanks

The rear would work but the front won't since it has a passenger side drop. The cool thing about Scout D44's is that the carrier is offset so the axle shafts are identical.

Thanks. I also found a set from a late scout II, looks like - in pic - it has drivers side drop. I hope to get an answer from the guy soon - $500 for pair.

You sure the axle isn't just upside down?
