Yup, that stud either breaks off or falls out.

If you're removing it I doubt it will seal up with only 2 bolts.  Might as well fix it if you're taking the manifolds off.

If your lucky the threads will be gone as well.  If not soak the threads and see id you can turn them with a punch and hammer.  Or else you can use reverse cut drill bits.  Start small and work your way up in sizes so as not to damage the threads.  If that doesn't work I'd use a screw-out rather then an EZ-Out.  Less of a chance of breaking off.

The rear bolt has broken off on mine a couple times. I use a reverse
twist 1/8 drill and it usually spins right out before I finish drilling.

I switched to stainless bolts and use a full length gasket with my
headers and intake manifold, seemed to do the trick.

THis problem seems to be related to uneven torque on the bolts
I find the socket head bolts work a bit better casue I can torque
them in the tight places between the manifold and block better.

Been wondering how many folks lose that bolt.  Just noticed mine is gone.  You can hear the leak when cold but it goes away after its warmed up. Plan on putting on a header later this summer will fix it then.

Could part of the problem be that Jeep does not use a gasket  on the exhaust side.
