Buy the tires carryout and take them to a firestone close to you. As long as they are brand new tires with the stickerson then they can mount them for you for a fee. Every firestone has 1 really good machine that is made for specialty rims like those. Trust me a manage one here in oklahoma. Just make sure they still have the stickers on cause our policy is very strick on them being new. I have mount 37s on 15s and 35 series on 24s with these machines so they will work.

Wait, you guys will mount them for free

I currently run 31"R15's with the stock 4.10 gears, automatic with several engine mods.  It does O.K. but larger tires usually require larger axles and gears to keep up with cars on the highway.  I like the Mickey Thompson Baja Claw,  the new re-designed one.  The original version recently won a tire shoot out in Peterson's Off Road magazine.  Just remember to keep up with the tire rotation,  I notice alot of wear on my passenger rear tire...probably from alot of right turns into traffic.

No need to bang your head. Look you said you were going to buy them from there. Guess what they charge you to mount them in the price. Just buy them carryout so they don't charge the mounting and the take them to firestone and have them mounted. simple fix.

hmmm I'm a cheapo so I'm not sure I'm going to regear for something that close to stock. Plus I'm running intake and exhaust so idk if I'll really be able to tell the difference.

Mine came stock with 205s so 31s was a big step up. Just got back from driving it up I-5 and back about 700 miles 75mph + and it works great even on the hills

So the Grapevine wasn't a problem?  Going up from the central valley to the LA basin is a tough haul for a lifted Jeep.  I'm barely doing 55MPH if I"m lucky.

Have any pictures?

Ah, the flat side.    That's pretty easy especially once you get to Santa Rosa and up to the border.  The planes in the CA central valley are rough since there is no wind protection and then the Grapevine into LA is really tough.

Looks like you got it really bad if you own all 3 TJ's at the same time.  That's pretty crazy.   :yikes:

I have been running 32"s in my YJ for a couple of years now w the stock gears. It has been as bad as going 35 mph on I-25 due to a 50 mph headwind. But .... I have also been going 80 on I-25 with a good strong tailwind.
