fuel gauge
« on: April 14, 2011, 11:19:12 PM »
has anyone ever had any issues with their fuel gauge? my fuel gauge currently reads about 1/8th tank more than what i really have. i know it has to do with resistance and amps. i just forget exactly how to check everything. it actually annoyes me as i would like my gauge to work correctly. i should mention that, the fuel pump is factory, the tank has only been lowered once to install rear shackles, but nothing electrical was disconnected.

There are issues with any of the dash gauges if the circuit board on the back of the guage panel got wet and corroded.

Last time I had my cluster out of the dash I pulled all the connections, cleaned them and used electrical grease to seal
them up as I put the connector back on.. My voltmeter was reading WAY low....
