so you gotta be rich like SMC

Sorry...  I just had to pipe in with  :roflol: :roflol: :roflol: :roflol:

I'm not rich, I just happened to be in the right place at the right time. ;)

Rich...  that'll get me deeper into the transfer case...  I wish...   :D

You know my build has been a good 5 years in the works... and boy oh boy did it take a long time.  But since I'm in the industry, I won't deny that alot of special perks...

I've been very lucky!

The other option is to stretch your project out over years.  How many? Well that all depends on how much you want to spend.  I dropped a fair amount of money into my Jeep while still in College.  A little bit here a little bit there.  Although I've owned the same Jeep longer then most people.  I want to get to the point where I can drop in some larger axles (larger then the 30/44 combo I have) and maybe a transfer case and call it good.  Which is why I recommended checking out the other site for parts.  You can usually find good deals on fully locked and regeared stock axles for cheap.

Oh yeah, I also got lucky and found a job writing for 4x4wire.com.  Free parts or more likely discounted parts was a bit plus.
