I went down to Vancouver WA this weekend to do some work on my Jeep and visit a buddy who has a
4x4 Fab Shop. I headed down on Thursday because we had a lot of work to get done. And of course on the way down I had a few issues; First I missed my turn and went an hour out of my way  Second I got pulled over by a state trooper who flipped a bitch just so he could tell me my Jeep was illegal. I was like but Sir, I have never been pulled over before  . So I get told that my tires stick out too far, my fender flares are too wide and my front bumper is too narrow. The only good thing about the whole thing was he didn't give me a ticket. Third one is the best!!
I was not paying attension and missed the last gas station for the next 66 miles. Yep I ran out of GAS!!
And that was within 2 miles of the gas stations after going 64 of those 66 miles.
So I did make it to BigRock Off-Road and pull my top and get the inside ready because we are going to install a Poison Spyder trail cage. That went real good but we modified a few things. I had bought the rear spreader bar so that went in first.
Then we used the front two spreader bars in the back instead of in the front.
Then Greg (The owner of BigRocks) worked his magic and we put in new window bars that are capped at the end, a new front bar to make the middle spreader bars level.
We were running out of time so I didn't get any pictures of the finished product. When I pull the cage to paint it I'll snap some more pictures.
Greg also installed a radiator hoop on to my front bumper.
And then I installed my new winch rope I got for Christmas.
While Greg was busy on the cage and front hoop I also installed my 33 Engineering belly up.
I also installed Poison Spyder tube fenders and a Kilby gas tank skid. While I had the tank out I modified it to be a 20 gal tank. And also while the tank was out Greg added some extra attachment points to his rear bumper.
I'll be getting the swingout section in a couple of days. He didn't have one built yet and I asked for a few special things.
If your looking for a front bumper here is his new design with the radiator hoop.
And last but not least I installed a Mean Green daul battery tray and 1 Yellow top battery. I need to move my OBA line before I can install the second battery. When I do I'll be using the
WranglerNW dual battery kit.
