Yeah, I'd like to see mod-friendly dealers

List of Shops that are happy to install aftermarket parts that you have purchase online (have had mixed experience with this; places doing business as service shop/retailers usually and understandably want to get their cut on the price of a part) Like to see more of the Tire Rack concept where you buy your tires (or any parts/mods/wheels/axles/lift kits) online and then they are shipped to an approved installer in your area who follows through with the work. Best of both worlds for the consumer, really, and a potentially steady source of business for installers that involves no marketing costs/advertising (the online retailer directs the buyer to the local install shop). Maybe this type of setup is already in place more and I just don't realize it.

Remote service advisory: you take your miked webcam/laptop out to your garage using WiFi and then "show" a remote service advisor, who may be thousands of miles away, your car's problem or otherwise seek advice on an install or their advice on an upgrade. This is potentially a huge service business for more than just vehicles. Kind of like Telemedicine for vehicles.
