Seats are pretty easy to mount but there are some things to be aware of. First sous be the overall width. If you have a console hen this could be a problem. For the mount, there are. Metal plates on the corner of the seat. Measure the distance between them and compare. You can always drill a new hole on the plates or else make adapters to match the seat base.
If you ro with racing seats, be aware that the seat bolster might raise the front of the seat higher then stock. This can make getting in and out a PITA. You can lower the seat by getting some Corbeu mounts or by removing the sliders.
For a TJ, I'd consider +2003 seats. These are the nicer ones with the headrests and wider back. Easy to install with no modifications required.
