Place a floor jack under the skid.  Use blocks of wood to make the difference.  Loosen the bolts then lower the skid 1.5".  Then drop in the spacer and raise then tighten.  Not much really to it.  I removed mine though.  I like having the shifters up higher again.

the scid plate is the suport for the tcase.. so they drop together.. just undo the 6 bolts and put in the spacers and new bolts.. ow ya i dont know how old your jeep is jbut you might want to spray some wd40 or penatrating fluid ion the bolts to loosen them.. i needed it when i did it on my jeep....

1 question thow.. why are you puting it on .. did you get a lift were you need the drivshaft anger to be better cuz if you dont need it i wouldnt tell you need it.. cuz i personaly think they look cheap and not so good and also you loose grund clearence..

In and done! Very simple!
Only problem was the bolts where not right. they where standered and my jeep uses metric.
So i ran to ace hardware and got some new bolts. altho they didnt have enough so I mixed diffrant lengthes and put in spacers to make it work.
I just need it to get me to work and back tell my parts come in then its coming off.
Only problem is now that when I have it in 2nd and 4th gear the shifter poll hits the plastic housing now, Dose any one know if there is a way to move it? Im sure once the MML/BL is in I will have the same problem.

I will some day, but I have a lot of other things I need more. I will get one once I get a larger lift. I'm shure that is a few years down the road.

Hah...installed my lift today (see thread in Poseur Central) and forgot about the shifting issues I would have...4th is my biggest problem, but 2nd and reverse aren't so hot either.

Just planning on pulling off the boot next weekend and seeing where I'm hitting.....I could live with it for a few months until I get an SYE.
