If you have a garage to park in, why not do a ceiling mount??  Back in, crank it up with a come-along and drive out...park face in right below it.  One man operation and saves the most space IMHO. :thumb:

I use ratchet straps and hang it off my garage rafters.  I'd be a bit worried by some of those 'racks'.  I get a lot of wind through my garage with the door open.  I can just imagine it falling over...  The PVC rack some place was selling was kinda cool and simple to make.

the thing about hanging it from the rafters... well at least in my garage is that our Rubicon isn't the only vehicle we work on in our garage and it would be hard to work on another vehicle with the hard to hanging up there let alone walking around without hitting our heads on it. but it is a good idea and would work well if your garage is set up so that it will work out with out conflicts. i was actually thinking of buying my dad one for his hard top rack things for his birthday but now i might just make one.

so is warping a real concern to be worried about of will it most likely not happen.

If you stand it on end, it may warp a bit but not enough to really worry.  The tops aren't 100% prefect.  You need to push and pull them to get then aligned right, this flexes the top a little.

Hanging from the ceiling of my garage is out, my garage is too small.

Check out this one, he wants $289.95 + $49.90 shipping, it doesn't look that hard to make plus I could make a place for my doors, but this would cost a lot to make. Also, I am not sure where all the weight is centered

I also found this one but he said it Didn't work, but if he used 3" PVC I could see it working, maybe?
