The thickness would depend on the space between the engine block and the back of the flywheel.
The one I saw at tricounty gear in pomona ca was defenitely no thicker than 3/8 of an inch

I got one from Tri-County Gear that I have not yet installed...  You want me to measure it?

yes please , that would help me out a lot.Maybe you could weigh it if  possible.  I need to make mine soon so I can finish the motor swap.  I,m in Saskatchewan  and buying this here is not possible. Making my own easier than trying to order from the States.  Thanks again :beers:

Well if all else fails give these guys a call, they have them in stock.  I am pretty sure they have no problem with shipping to Canada

Some grinding might be required to clear the block.  TCG has another company that's known for making flywheels make the inertia ring for them.

The TCG one is 9 lbs (advertised; I have not weighted it yet).  I'll get you the measurements when I get home this afternoon.  If you can, though, I do recommend them, as they were very quick and easy to order from, and the price was not that expensive.
