i got a 97 i have 33 on it now but need new tires and was thanking about go with 35, how hard is it on the axles

If stock I'd be watching the rear 35 and for sure have spare shafts!

no locker stock, here on more iam adding tube fernders with leds the mod every one talking about is that for all lights led parking,rear,what did it do

If you are wheeling this thing and you want 35's , you need axle shafts front and rear in a bad way and get rig of the spiders in the diffs for something like ausie lockers, then truss both axles and you are ready for plenty of fun

For the price of that you could probably buy an extra set of used stock axles.

Everything I have read say that 35's on a d35 is a bad idea, especially if you have a locker.  This is exaclty why I decided to stick with 33's on my rig (and since I locked both axles, I also invested in alloy axles, and even still, I have to be carefull with the D35).  You also need to consider that with the stock axle, your gearing will be less than optimal; I run 4.88's, and I still wish I could go lower even with the 33's...

Be patient. Watch your local CL and jeep boards for the opportunity to get an 8.8/8.25/44 for the rear. Do you have sye? I would watch for that as well. Patience will save you big $

I would consider my yj fairly built tho not done and only thing i bought new was ss brake line ext and shock mounts.

I run them, but have not wheeled them yet...  Really nice on the street so far, though.  Stick well even when wet, and are not so noise (I cannot hear them on the highway, but then again, my engine is fairly noisy!).
