Bigger tires.... lower gears.....MPG?
« on: February 19, 2006, 09:34:28 PM »
Hey guys, I just got a '03 TJ SE and I wanna go with some bigger tires, at least 31's.  I'd like to go with 35's, and if I swap in the proper axle ratios, would I still be gettin the same gas mileage, or would it change, and if so, how much should it?

Thanks.

Well it migth be best to look arround the FAQ and search a bit.

The Faq on gearing would be a start.  Then check out the Dana 35c in the FAQ.  That should get you moving in the right direction.
