i deff wanna do tht. i hate dropping my tank. was goin to cut a square in my tub just over the fuel pump and replace the fuel pump that way then seal it back up
To be honest, dropping the tank will be A LOT less work than cutting the tub... All you have to do is release the fuel filler hoses, loose 7 nuts, and bring the tank down with a hydraulic jack. It's really not rocket science. I have dropped mine at least 4 times, with a 4th one coming up sometime soon (I would say next weekend, but since I leave tomorrow on a business trip until Saturday, my wife probably has something to say about that!). Takes about an hour to drop it and put it back on (plus whatever time you take to work on whatever you are working on).
