Yeah, but, man, it was 77 in LA today and I had the AC on at my place.  Michigan, I dunno, what was it 40s and 50s (I'm an east coast guy, originally, so I'd actually be pretty ok with 40-50 myself) ?

If you are in Arizona/Texas/New Mexico when its 100+, you are probably going to want that electric fan in there with the auto thermostat

but, you are lucky that you probably aren't going to really need a fan in the milder weather.

jeez, no power gains though!?   Maybe computer hasn't adjusted for the change or something?

That Accord fan is awefully small.  What's with that zip-tie? Not te mention that TJ jack bungied to the fender.  (If you stop hard, I'd imagine that jack will go flying... into your radiator.

Yea, the fan really only needs to run in stopped traffic. Otherwise that little motor doesn't get hot. It's cool thing. I like a self sufficient motor.

That jack's days ARE numbered. Though I has already helped me re-seat a bead in a pinch 8)  I was kinda worried about it smashing into the back of my headlight when I stopped in a hurry, or tilted the nose a lot in the sand pit, but with my special BUNGE retention system, that hasn't been a problem yet :P   It's gone as soon as I get a high-lift or ANY other means of lifting a tire a few inches!!

The zip ties are there for speed!   No, actually I just put them on the long spaces between the bolts because the Jap metal was very flimzy and  the whole works could flex a bit.  After the zip ties every thing is nice and snug.

Personally, I would keep a stock jack. For fixing a tire or working on the Jeep, a Hi-Lift is dangerous to use.  Just use some large hose clamps.  And turn it around so the larger end is towards the back.

i've been running a 16" zirgo 3300cfm fan on my 2.5 for about a month now and have had NO issues with overheating....  it's performed excatly as it is supposed to and my engine bay stays so much cleaner when i dredge deep water crossings since i can actually turn the fan off now :)

so I put in a hayden adjustable fan controller ($20 autozone) to go with my 2200scfm reversable fan ($75 summit) and it all went in very nice and clean. But my temp gauge is on the fritz so I started working on it. After looking at Chilton it appears that the temp sensor in the thermostat housing goes to the ECM and there is what they call "temp sending unit" that goes to the gauge. Are these one in the same or are there actually two different senders in the 91's? I need to get that sucker working so I can set the temp I want my fan to come on at. Funny thing is my heater works really good without that clutch fan running all the time, it's getting warm soon so I need to get my gauge working. Anyone got some info?

Thought I would add the electric fan kit a buddy helped me fab up. It's a Mopar Fan with a custom made bracket. It is wired on a lighted switch in the jeep here are a few pictures.

Look at all that room now!

we used bushings at each mounting point so there are no vibrations

Shot of the fan
