The dirt breaks away into power.  He needs lower gears though.  A crawler box would have got him through that without stalling nearly as much.  I'd guess he's got 4.56's or 4.88's in his D44's.

My son and I saw this Trail-Gear.com owned crawler at the 4WheelParts Truck and Jeep Fest just a few days ago - looked awesome. It’s similar to the Trail-Gear crawler in the video, but obviously different.

Where's the phone app + remote mounted laser/camera device(s) that will size up the fall line + obstacles in line + your suspension travel, vehicle width, clearance and say:  Hey bud, trail too beaucoup for your setup?  ...Press here if you don't give a ...

I think he did just fine. I bet if you told him he needed lower gears he'd ask you if you saw him drive sideways and pull through like no big deal. Sometimes it's fun to watch folks do stuff with their Jeeps you would never dream of.
