Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on Quadratec expanding their branded offering?

First carpet protectors, winches and today I just noticed they have their own soft tops...

you can buy almost anything from China (or other mass production farm-out countries) with your personalized brand logo (at least that's how i think they started this marketing line) for a fraction of the price of the same product with a brand name. Same applies for bulk pricing to which you do the packaging and apply your own logo in a wearhouse. Its good business sense if you ask me and it ultimately benefits both them and the consumer by eliminating the man-in-the-middle. There are some things that are detrimental possibly, less quality control, less warranty period or limitations on warranty, etc. I bought a set of catch-all quadratec floor mats for my YJ for 1/2 price, so my take on it - good for them if it saves me money

Latest: Corbeau BajaRS heated seats  keeping warm the rear end

I'm betting those tops are actually made by Bestop.  Qtech sells a lot of Bestops.  Probably one of the largest sellers of them.  They have their own exclusive ARB Bumper as well.

Hmmmm...I'm surprised Bestop would supply to them with their branded product in the same catalog.

I'm definitely getting the floor mats.  They look great with deep lugs...and can't beat the price.

Well, when you're the #1 seller of something you can get them to make exclusive stuff.  Did you see how much cheaper the Qtec ARB bumper is from the ARB one?

It's a real ARB bumper, though. So even though Q-tec gets their name on it, ARB still makes some $$ off it. Both end up benefitting. Prob is the same with the tops if they are actually BestTop. Just another way for BestTop to sell their product, change the name/badge and sell.

That's my point.  They have enough clout to get a company like ARB to make an exclusive bumper.  I've also said the same about the top in the past as well.

Qtech has to be the largest reseller for them.

It is not too different than what Summit does. I bought those Sealed Power lifters, and there was an equivalent by Summit with the same ending HT2011 part number.
