ax15 slave cyl?
« on: November 12, 2012, 06:22:09 AM »
I am putting a 99 ax15, with extetnal slave cyl, in my 93. The line from master cyl has female end & so does slave. Is there an adaptor fitting, or do I need to get m/c from a 99 for this to work?

Thanks

not sure if your's had an internal slave (sounds like it so i'm going to assume so) - you'll need the clutchvhydraulic line from a 94 or 95 YJ, don't know if the TJ one works (it might, but i can't tell you for sure), the m/c diameter for TJ is the same but it is a different part number so not sure how the hookup of the line is at the m/c - you could take your line and compare if you only find a TJ one, it's very possible it will work

the YJ one will work for sure as the slave cyl for 99 (from your donor vehicle) is the same as 94/95 and the m/c on the 93 (the one you have on your Jeep) is the same as 94/95. I don't know of any adapters that exist for this, i'm sure one can be fabbed but probably cost more or the same as the line.

AA makes a braided line for TJ's, IIRC.
