My new 35s
« on: May 10, 2015, 11:01:27 PM »
Picked up a set of Maxxis Trepador Radials and 19lb aluminum rims.
Can't wait to really try them out. They replaced my 33" toyos. My Toyos weighed in at 100lbs a piece, while these weigh in at 86.5lbs! I still love my toyos, however, their only drawback being their weight. They lasted  good while and were excellent off road, on road, in snow and mud. The compound is softer on the Maxxis, so while I'm not expecting as long a life as my Toyos, i am expecting improved traction.

I'll need to trim a bit, but no contact with any metal. However, i may have some clearance issue once the tire is cut all the way left or right

Yet when I got the first one on, I thought to myself "wish I had 37s..."
