Is this possible or does a double cardan shaft have to operate in a straight line to be vibe free?

I know you can run a conventional driveshaft in an offset diff.

the shaft doesn't know the difference between up and down angle and side to side angle....

so what exactly are you asking here?

So you're saying a double cardan drive shaft behaves the same way? That it doesn't know if it's operating up/down/side/side angle?

Sidew to side, up and down it's all the same angle to the U-joint.
