Support the body with a jack and a 2x4.then loosen all of the mounts.  There are 11 of them.  Remove the supported side and lower.  You'll need one side of bolts to figure out what bolts to get.  Get them however many inches shorter then your body lift.  I recommend getting Grade 5 or 8 bolts.  Might as well go Nickel or zinc plated.  Should be a lot cheaper then the dealer and they should hold up better, too.  Once it's lowered you'll probably have to shift the body around a little to get it lined up enough.

If you have a TJ you'll have to futz with the Tcase shifter a bit I think.  It will need to be readjusted.  Then remove the fan shroud brackets and your done.

My tj has a 2" body and there's a transfer case bracket that needs to be removed, there is also a steering linkage riser that will most likely need to be removed.  Mine came with a fuel filler tube extension but I'm guessing it won't need to be removed and will be fine.  I had to remove the 2 front rubber spacers from under the grill and replace them with longer ones that came with the kit.  They don't have bolts through them and just popped into place.  You could probably cut the longer ones down, or you may have to buy two more from the dealer.  I don't know if all body lifts are the same but those are what mine came with, again it's 2".  Also I had to heat up and bend my manual shifter so it would not hit the console, so I don't know if that would have to be changed back?
