no dash ligths at night!
« on: June 23, 2006, 03:05:07 PM »
I don't know if this problem has already been posted, but I've looked and couldn't find the same issue.

Lastnight after I went fishin, I turned on my lights, and none of my interior lights came on.  The only lights were from the odometer, the high-beam, and the radio, I couldn't see my speedo nor any of my other guages.  My taillights also don't come on.  All that comes on are the headlights.

Any one have any ideas?  I need this issue fixed ASAP!

Thanks.

I'm sure you checked, but it needs to be asked.
Did you check your fuse panel?

Check fuses then check connectors, bulbs and switches.  You might also want to mention what kind of Jeep it is.

I checked every fuse on it.  I haven't checked any switches or connectors yet.

It's a 2003 TJ SE.

If the dash AND tail lights aren't working it sounds like it is definitely a bad fuse.

Head light switches are known to go bad also though.  Check the fuses under the hood.

I'm pretty sure cause I never dink with it, plus that wouldn't explain my tail lights bein out.

But I rechecked EVERY fuse on my Jeep, and looks like I overlooked a couple blown fuses  .  I replaced them and everything works they way they should now.

Thanks for the help.
