I have been pricing out headers, but I am unsure of the quality vs price.  The Pacesetter hammer coat goes for between 225$ and 290$.  The Borla is about 410$.  I am all about saving money but I do not want to go the cheap route and be disappointed.  Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Pacesetters are cheaper and tend to rust easier

The Pacesetter will rust out where the four tubes come together in the collector. Thats what mine did and I read in another post on this site where somebody else had the same thing happen twice. I now have a Banks which seems to be holding up fine with about 20 thousand miles on so far.

my friend's tj borla header rusted and crakced the welds at the collector after 2 years.... his pace setter has been on there almost 3 and no cracks yet.

my yj borla is 4 years old and zero problems.

good luck.
