Topic: Viper CJ up for auction

Saw this Viper-Powered CJ up for auction. Then, of course, there's the auction photo showing the Jeep Magazine article done on the ride.  Have to admit, having an article written on a specific Jeep that you own is pretty cool.

If I had the money, would be a little scared off of buying the thing, but the existance of an "article" kind of changes that.  You figure that if the Viper CJ owner is ok having a magazine do a once-over on the ride, driving it, etc. that it must be a fairy solid.  Course, if, maybe,  4
+ years has gone by since the article was published, then there might be some problems to deal with on the thing.    ("oh, yeah, now that we got the frame bent back in to shape, it drives great..."

edit: actually it shows June 2004 as the date article was published.  Article was,  "how to build a 100,000 dollar Jeep"

It's a bit of a poseur aint it?  I don't think it's worth anywhere near $40K though.
