Recently, i notice my blinkers do not work. I turn the lever and no blinker lights up inside the cab or outside the cab. Checked the fuse and its good. About a week later my head lights turned off while i was driving. They came back on soon after thought. Has anyone ever experienced anything like this or know of anything like this? Im thinking loose or coroded cables? Havent really cheked anything yet. Just wondering if anyone else has had problem b4?

When I bought my TJ the turn signals and radio worked intermittently.  I traced mine back to a bad ignition switch.  I could make them work if I jiggled the key.  Replaced the switch and no more problems.  Something to check anyway.  Hope it helps.

I'd try cleaning up the harness plug on the column, it's a long thin plug with a bunch of wires going to it.  That could be lose if you're lucky.  I lost my 'flash to pass' then my headlights because of that.

They should be.  Although pin-outs could have changed year to year but I'd assume they didn't but color probably did.  The other consideration if if you get a column that has intermitant wipers.

My Jeep has the straight column, I've got no problems with it.  I already have to climb over the seat to get in so it's not a big deal for me.  I'd like to get a steering wheel disconnect so it would make it even easier.

i was just wondering cuz we put tilt wheel steering coloms in our cj3 and 2a's and they look just like mine except mine doesnt tilt.. just odd to have nicer things in an older vehicul than a newer one... but i can live with how it is now

You should be able to swap them with no problems really.  Just make sure the column is tight and the tilt isn't broken or loose before installing it.  Otherwise, you'll have to strip the column down to tighten it again.  Should be fairly simple to tighten them though.
