It won't be bolt-in by no means.  You'll need to replace the transmission, bellhousing, engine mounts, engine harness, dash harness, new ECM, gauge cluster.  You'll have to redo the exhaust and adapt it somehow.  Might have to keep the any pre-cats too.

Not to mention if it's legal in your state.  If you're going to go through all of that you might as well swap in a larger engine.

An '03-06 is not the same engine as the 1984-02.  THey are completely different engines and as such do not share much if anything.  The engines are shared with the Neon, Caravan, Liberty, Caliber, Patriot, etc...  They are all ODBII which requires a lot more then the old ODBI of your '93.  ODBII started in 1997.  Like I said before, there are a lot of things that will need to be changed to make the swap work.  Basically, replacing most of the drivetrain.

If you don't want to spend much over a couple grand I suggest just ordering a new 2.5L engine...

I looked into swapping a diff engine when mine went out in my tj, and found out that basically it would take much more labor and cash than just buying another 2.5

One thing you COULD do if you wanted more power (if that is what you're looking for) is do some work to the 2.5L engine block.. like boring out.. etc.. before the mechanic installs it.  I didn't go through the trouble but I'd imagine it would be the cheapest thing to do in your situation.
