Thanks for sticking around Tori.  :thumbsup:

4.0 = 6 cyl (your Jeep)
2.5 = 4 cyl = 4banger (all of us)

I use the terms 4 cylinder and 2.5 liter interchangeably a lot in conversation and it tends to confuse people. 4 cylinder gets confused for 4.0 liter and vise versa and I tend to leave people scratching their heads... because I misspoke like an  :ass:.

Anyway, welcome tori and welcome to any of the other newbs that I always seem to miss.

Jeffy, can we get an emoticon representing a black sheep? I think it would suit me very well if put in my signature. Or you could just add "black sheep of the bunch" to my custom title.  ;)

^^J/K by the way.

Hey everyone. I'm Joe. 18, born and raised in Southern California. Signed up with the Coast Guard, and I'm leaving here in a couple months for basic. I drive a '97 Wrangler SE. No mods yet, haven't had the money. I do plan to at least do a 6-inch lift and some 35s. I'll post some pictures more on that when I have the money to do everything.  :smile:

Whats up everyone.  I have been searching and reading your guys projects on here for a couple of weeks and decided I could proly use you guys sometime for your tech knowledge.  I have had 5 Jeeps, 86 CJ 258 I6, 3in superlift and 33's, 89 YJ, 94 YJ, 97 TJ 2.5L 2"suspension and 33's, and swore off jeeps.  I drive 35 miles one way to work and wanted a quiet air conditioned ride.  That lasted 4 months.

Current ride is a 91 YJ.  I have done the 4.0L throttle body swap (thanks for the write up Jeffy), flush mounted 4" round LED taillights, and a new Pavement Ends SunRider.  Looking to do the electric fan, 2-3" suspension lift for 31's or 32's, and trying to decide what type of bumpers I like.

On a 1-10 for mechanical ability I would say a 7, but I am lacking a garage currently (apt. life)

Anyway, I am looking forward to talking Jeep with you guys.

 :wave: everyone,

My name is Johnny and I live in the Appalachian mountains of NC.

My DD is a 91 Jeep Wranger with a 4" lift and 33x10.50 tires.  I bought it in March and have had about everything in it out one time or the other. I have an extra motor for it that I plan to rebuild this winter with some help from my mechanic. That is about it and now I'm going to start asking questions.

Hello everybody,

My name is Brice, and I own a 98 TJ wrangler w/ 65,000mi.  The only deviance's from stock right now are the 30in' bfg a/t's and duplicolor truck bedliner.  I'm also a member on a few other boards under the same name.  I'm a college student at Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS, so needless to say money is tight.  I look forward to talking Jeeps or whatnot with you all.

Brice

Hi all!

My name is Kristen and I hail from Port Colborne, Ontario, Canada. Which is about 20 mins from the Buffalo, NY border on the north side of lake Erie. I work in the television industry and am a college grad, more recently a university grad as well and starting an MA too this fall. I found this site last year but finally registered I hope I can get to know some of you as I'm sure you all know much much more than I do. So I look forward to chatting.

Now to business. I bought a 2000TJ 2.5 SE last March. I got it off an auction it was modded before being sold with a 4" lift, snorkel, air intake, and I don't know what else. When I bought it all this stuff was off but I deduced these were some of the mods that were done to it. Since then I've replaced the stock airbox with a cheapo stainless cold air intake for know. I've added on an Airaid TB spacer, 31x10.5" Dayton MT's, Bestop lock box filled with new panasonic 6x9's a 1200 watt sony amp and new sony xplod 51/4's in the sound bar. Its a 5 speed and looks and runs great. I'll have to add more later.

Cheers, Kristen

Hey guys my name is Chad I live down her in Wilmington, NC. I've got a 2000 Wrangler with a few things done to it. I'm in college here and my Jeep is my DD so I have been forced to do what I can when I have the time and money.  I think as many of us do I work to support my Jeep, so I am constantly broke.  My signature should pretty well describe what is done to the Jeep.  I have a limited slip rear carrier that I will be putting in soon, and I just added a snorkel. Look forward to using this forum whenever possible and offering any advice I can. Thanks.
