My YJ was my first ride and have kept it up since I bought it from my dad. Its a 1990 YJ 2.5L, stock except a Posi-Lok up front. One day I want propane, the next a turbo or a stroker kit. Who knows what I'll end up doing with it, for now I just have to put it on the back burner until all these deployments slow down. Until then I'm collecting info and parts! Right now I'm in Afghanistan with the 101st from Fort Campbell, Ky. I've served my time after this tour (my second) and will be moving back to FL if all goes as planned. Never does, so I might be in AZ for all I know this time next year.

whats up everyone? i have a 1995 yj wrangler that i have had for about a year and a half and am just now startin to make some changes. its pretty much stock, but not for long..... haha. im still in high school, and i wanna have a BA car for when i pull up this year. i need to start some engine mods, and i wanna get a 3 inch lift.

I'm new to the Jeep world, I just bought a 99 wrangler with some mods already done, like a 3in lift and 31's. I've been doing some research on how to get a little more out of the 4 banger and I came across this website and had to join, so any advice would be much appreciated!!

Got my first TJ in March. It's an 01, with the 2.5, and 5 speed, with 31x10.50's, and just installed a 2" coil spacer lift. It was all original, with the 8" canyon wheels, and in excellent shape. Its my daily driver.

Sup all y'all? As you may guess I have a 97 TJ 4 banger. I bought it with 87K on the clock, BFG33's, lifted, and (ugh) automatic. I was searching info on turbo-charging this machine (why? because I can) and I came upon this forum...pretty cool....I had to join. I've read a lot about engine swaps, etc. but if I did that there'd be no sense in joining this forum; now would there?

Hello Will Here from St.Louis Missouri I have been Lurking on this site for quite some time. So many good articles and posts about the 2.5L 4banger.
I am a proud owner of a 97 tj 2.5L. I have stock gearing 4.10s with 5speed Manual on 31's. I have replaced the clutch based fan with an electric and added a Skid row Tj engine skid plate and custom welded front Bumper from ebay and Rocker Guards. Thanks to Jeffy and everyone for keeping this site running. I cant wait to Try out the Some of the mods listed for fuel injection and 4.0l throttle body mods. If there are any St.Louis area jeepers looking for some one to wheel with hit me up.
