I am not sure what drugs these kids were on, but they had to be on something. There was nothing wrong with this cherokee. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=7270258632860038644&q=jeep&hl=en

I believe the story goes, one of the kids fathers owns a salvage yard.  The Jeep looked like it was a older pre-98.  Didn't look bad actually.  Might of had a whole lot of miles though.  In any case, it was interesting to see how it held up.

Right from the link you posted...

This jeep had failed its MOT and it was not economically viable to repair (completely rusted underneath) also none of us wanted the hasle  ... all » of breaking it . Rather than just take it straight to the breakers we decided to have some fun with it first and see what it could do if realy pushed , all the driving you see in the video was on private land , after the destruction , the jeep and crap that fell off were low loaded to a local scrap metal merchant and it weighed in at just under 3 tons , for which we received £110 . Also we made sure that the kids you see in the vid were stood out the way on what ever run we were going to try . It would have kept on going had the transmission pipe not split , a super damm tough XJ

Starting fluid, I've seen it done, but haven't gotten a chance to try it myself yet.

My dad showed me that trick once back in the 80s.  He used starter fluid and then told me never try it myself or he would kill me.
