Topic: 2000 TJ Center console...

I have a 2000 TJ with the little half center console.  I would like to have one with the built in sub/amp but they did not come out until 2001.  I was just wondering if a 2001+ center console will fit correctly.  I would like to find an OEM part since everything else inside is pretty much stock besides the head unit and speakers.  I am having a hard time even finding an OEM "full" center console.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Why not go with the Tuffy console??

Keep in mind the sub is really small.  I believe it's a some off size around 6.5"-8".  The space is really small for the sub and you have very little storage.  I think it would be better to build a custom box and get a proper console.

I built my own from scratch. It is a custom wood piece, stronger than plastic or steel, carpeted on the inside, and covered with matching vinyl as my interior color. It's got a barrel lock on it too. Twice as good as stock junk, more room and sits just right for my arm hand. Sweet piece.
