Does any one know where I can get a wrangler emblem? I have spent hours online looking for the stock “WRANGLER” badge but no luck.

They haven't used those since 1990.  Only plave I can think of is maybe Qtech or 4wd.com.  Otherwise ebay.  Have you thought about going with a post 90 look and use a sticker?

I would love to use the sticker but there is all this gunk left over from the one that fell off and I need to cover it.

Ok so I went to Collins bros and to the guy on ebay and no one has one. I guess I will go to a junk yard and pull one off or something.

Just do Goo Gone and a Wrangler Decal (I bought a "YJ" Bright Silver Metallic set from these guys http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=020&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&viewitem=&item=300081519282&rd=1&rd=1).  Has the early 90's "WRANGLER" font style for the YJ

I will try the goo gone thing. But I don’t want to mess up my paint job.
I just had it painted 40 days ago and the body shop took off the emblems, painted it, then used 3m double sided decal tape and stuck the old ones back on there. If I would of thought about it more I would have told them to just leave them off so I could use a newer modern sticker version version.
But a week after the paint job one of the decals fell off and I can not get the double sided tape off. It is thick and stiff and its on fresh paint.
I will take a pic and do a host and post when I get home.

Peanut butter works well.  We use it to remove goo from my daughter's stickers.

On a fresh paint job?  Go with the Goo Gone.  WD40 might also work and not a solvent so it shouldn't take the paint off.

Peanut butter is awesome.  I used it take off the wax residue on the fenders as well as mud stains.  Blackened them up nicely.  Adams stir works best.
