Changing 5th gear.
« on: February 12, 2007, 09:14:18 PM »
AX5 have a 0.85 5th gear ratio.

Will AX15's 0.79 ratio gear fit?

Or even use a lower than 0.85 5th gear from a toyota gearbox?

Looking for ways to lower revs on 5th gear.

Toyota R150F & R151F, R154, Isuzu AR5 and the GM MA5 5-speeds all have the same case and are interchangeable to some extent.  The AX-5 is not.  Swap to an AX-15, NV3550 or an NV4500.

When I said 'interchangable' I meant internals.
