My jeep has one long deep scratch from the front of the right fender along the top of my hood to the center of my windshield frame, all from one log that got kicked up from my wheel.  other than that my jeep looks clean, I try real hard to keep it scratch free as much as I can. But the under side, that's a different story, its all beet up, before I go wheeling again... I'm going to buy all kinds of armor.
And on that Jeep wave thing, I just wait tell I get a wave, or see that there staring at me or my jeep before I wave.

Im getting sick of the JK owners that think their Jeeps are superior, I get more waves from soccer moms in TJ's than anyone in a JK....  Almost everyone else seams to wave if they are paying attention around here though, saw a girl that looked my age driving a stock TJ sport with a WARN winch and aftermarket bumpers..  She threw up the wave right away, pretty cool!

lets see here plenty of small scratches due to taking ATV trails and the like in the mountains. use to run a stock fuel tank skid with a mashed in corner due to me slipping off a hill and landing on a rock. i have a slight dent in my rim due to me going to fast on an old local trail that suddenly got curbs installed. my front bumper is slightly crooked. there's places on the front driveshaft where a rock grinded it to the shiny metal. there's scratches under the doorpins to the metal (thats not offroading but me trying to get loose rusted pins) hm....i think thats it.

Ok mayby Im guilty of this...Maybe not??
My 80 CJ looks great from a distance, but upclose you cans see teh rust coming through the paint.  No dents tought.  But it was my DD untill 2 mo ago.  If I broke it I fixed it so it would last.  My new TJ probibly never saw a serious trail in its 36k miles (its a '99).  And I do plan on taking it out.  But again if I scrach it I fix it.  But I like my toys to work good and look good. 
Out here there are few trails mostly river beds and Ive seen jeeps w/ 44" tires completly under water and still going.  Mine is a jeep not a Boat!!!

if they were completely underwater i wouldn't consider their jeeps to be boats either.
