So i installed a 1" daystar body mount lift and now when i shift to 2nd the shifter is hitting the seat...is there anyway to correct this? Also, i was thinking about getting the B&M Ripper shifter, would i have more complications if i did get it? thanks for any help.

You could take the stick off and bend it for clearance.  Probably run into similar problems with the B&M.

The B&M should cure the problem as it has a lot shorter throw.  But then again I need to bend my B&M shifter to get it right.  Got mine off Ebay so it was likely bent before I bought it.

Very, it's a very tight pattern.

Mine is a 1" spacer for the shifter base, and a stainless steel shift lever.

The B&M ripper is very tight comparison to stock. It should work without modification.  I have a 3" body lift and the ripper shifter and I have no problems with clearance issues.

Hmm, maybe I'll have to consider one of these.  I lose a lot of power shifting to 5th because of the length of the throw.  The stock setup is pretty good for a 5000 RPM powershift  through the lower gears though.
