D35?

I was behind a (I think) Hunydi Sorrento in my little mazda pickup and could see the rear end.  Looked like a d35 with the rubber plug.  I this is one.  What other new vehicals are using them?
97 auto, 31x10.50, 4.0 tb, 1" ebay tbs

Lots of axles use rubber plugs. My chrysler 8.25 has a rubber plug

I think the Ford Ranger has a modified version of the D35 in the front... set up for IFS.

a d35 ifs????  i guess it could have like mini axles and axle shafts, like a tracker had, the half axles or what ever there called.  but nah dont think dana's are in ford, or imports unless swapped in.

Yup, the only other truck to use a D35 that I know if is the Ford Explorer/Ranger.  They use a specially made housing to accept 35 gears in the front axle.
