hi ya'll i've got a 1990 jeep wrangler 2.5, and anyhow, the e-brake light doesn't go off anymore, when i take off the ebrake. anyone run into this problem or know how to fix it? thank you in advance

Check the switch at the pedal.  There should be a spring loaded switch with one wire going to it.  If the shaft of the switch is bent it will get caught up.  I'm not sure if I'd try bending it back.  BTDT and ended up breaking off the rod.

Did you try pulling up on the ebrake pedal?

Could also be a brake hydraulic problem but you'd likely have other symptoms.
