DANA 30 Value?

What would you say a DANA 30 out of a YJ with 4.56s and an ARB is worth?

whats a used ARB go for, and is it less than half of a D44 axle.  If it is not save your cash and do a real up grade and get rid of the 30!  Don't forget that unless you have the same ratio in the rear then you will have to regear.

About $500 tops, as it would ordinarily take about twice that to build the same axle with new parts.

The fact a D30 is not really a strength upgrade for anybody will likely lower that value some.

Wow, $500 sounds a bit generous.  I'd probably only offer $350-400.

i think i'm with jeffy on this one.  you could probably sell the arb and gears easier without the axle.

Yeah so buy the axle real cheap and part it out and put your money into a real axle.

Thanks for the input.
I'm putting a 9" in the front to match the rear and I was curious to see what I might be able to get for the D-30.  I also have the ARB and the gearset from the D-35.

If I can't find a local buyer I'll probably pull the gears and the locker out of the D-30 and sell the parts.

OK, I'll add this.  This is a Reverse Cut Dana 30.  The locker is interchangeable with all Dana 30's.  The gears are not.  The gears will only fit a YJ and some XJ's.
