Well, if it makes you feel any better, last week, it was raining really hard here with a lot of wind, and as I drove into the wind, there was water (not dripping; STREAMING!) into my foot!  So I out the windshield and re-routed the lights' wires to see if I can cure this problem...  At least now its only a problem when it rains REALLY hard and I drive into the wind...

well today i drove my jeep to a friends house cuz it was soposed to be raining like it has been ever other day this month. but when i left it stopped raining.. but the wind started to rip my side window of my soft top off and making it flop in the wind... no to fun. ow and my soft upper door was stretching like 4 inches out from the rest of the jeep... i think its time i invest in a new soft top.. the worst part of watery dash is the rust after words the runes you contacts on the gages and your headlamp switch....

You want a free black hard top?  It's missing the rear hatch, but otherwise not too bad.

You don't go out and buy a new liftgate.  YJ tops haven't been made for 12 years now.  Most of it is glass.  There is a bottom piece that you'll need to find.  There are also two clips for the struts that attach to the glass.  Most liftgates don't have latches although some do.

It is for a YJ - I think it was made by steelhorse.

The back hatches are expensive and hard to find.  But a resourcefull guy might be able to make one.

Oh, it's a Leakhorse...  I had one of those...  Sold it and got a real hardtop.     The liftgate should be all glass with two turn handles.  Should be able to get someone to cut something to fit then throw on some cheap T-handle locks.

OK, you're going to want to pick it up with a truck I'm guessing.  Unless you already have some kind of latch brackets on your windshield frame - I never got those with the hardtop.  We'll make sure that you or you and your dad take a good look at it to make sure you want it.

Enjoy.  One less thing taking up space.  Now if I could just get that extra Comanche bed out of there :)
