I am finding some small amounts of water in my oil
it seems to disappear after the engine reaches normal operating temperature. I have checked for bubbles in the coolant (with the rad cap off while idling) thinking the head gasket mite be blown but found nothing
I have been told by an ex Chrysler mechanic that at this time of year it is common for a bit of water "from condensation" to be in the oil, with short trips and cooler temperatures.
However very soon after I bought my YJ from a dealership, I found out that it had 2 burnt valves (so the dealership fixed it even though I was planning to do it myself) and charged me what it would have cost me for just the machining. I am thinking that the head needs to be re-torqued at least I thought it would be a good start anyway.
Is there anyone who can tell me what the torque specs for the 94 2.5L head are
& any other thoughts would be appreciated also.
Thanx
