NV3500

Does anyone know if you could swap an NV3500,  not the 3550 but  the  3500 out of an S10?
Any help would be appreciated cause i'm confused, due to the fact that people seem to use the two numbers interchangeably.

A NV3500 won't work.  It has an integrated bellhousing.  You'd need the engine to go with the swap.
