Topic: interco tire question

Has anyone had experience with these tires ? i know most of you wont like them but are they decent tires ? im not going to go any hire on my lift so im pretty sure i can tuck these 34s under my jeep without trimming. i have a 4" RC lift and soon will be putting on the 3/4" lift shackles i got from brandon.

I know a couple guys running those pizza cutters. They wear a little quick on the road, but they are awesome on the trail.

ok well i thought id ask they would be seeing the road more than the trail as its my DD for now until i get a beater to drive daily thats good on gas

Interco's don't like street usage.  They are tough tires offroad though.  Another thing I've noticed is that they aren't pretty to look at.  Lots of flashing and overmolded areas.  Since they're bias ply, they can be harder to balance and if you get cold weather, they will flat spot overnight.  I have that exact tire as my spare.

I ran the TSL 33x10.50 radials for several years and had good experience with them.
I still have one sitting on my old spare rim. The radial wore pretty good on the road.
When they were new I felt every lug hitting the road, but everyone could hear me driving down the road because they howled pretty good.

The 34x9.50 looks kind of funny sitting under a lifted Jeep, it pretty skinny. Take a look at the 33x10.50 if you're really interested in Swampers.

I run the 33x10.50 radial and love em. I wouldn't like as much for a DD though but for trails and an occasional drive around the lakes they're great.
Look into Discount Tire, should have better prices than that.

They sure are. He runs a set of 35" AT's on the road and swaps the 34's on for trail duty.

I have ran a 33x12.50x15 on my ranger and they were great tires! Cleaned out well and were strong. Were'nt pretty but your not going for looks are you? I now have TLS LTB n my jeep and they SUCK! I mean there ok cause there loud and good in the mud and they clean well But are paper thin so i Don't recomend airing down and hittin some rocks. Never had a cold night flat spot tho. Depends on how cold were talkin. Don't get real cold here.

i run the 34x10.50 LTB's on my DD, they don't balance for poo. I LOVE them on the trail, they are on a 15x8 steel rim and i run abour 9lbs of air in them wheeling and 34 on the street. They wear fast, but they are CHEAP.

Those Special Service Swampers are sweet, I was considering them until I decided I needed a 35" or 35" TSL instead.  I like the pizza cutter look and performance on a 2.5L jeep.

I went with the Q78 TSL, it runs about 35.5"x10" and is the same height as the 36" TSL's but has more tread depth, 27/32".

I run my TSL's on the road a few hours at a time to the trailhead, they do pretty good.  I did the internal balancing with Dynabeads and it works great.

I run 33x12.5 tsl radials and I love them they run great on and off road havent let me down yet

i run 36x12.50 bias ply tsl's on 15x8 steel wheels and now i have the 2.5l jeep with an ax-3 tranny but who needs a 5 speed any....right???
