stock swaybar question!!

Whats the size of the stock swaybar?  id measure it myself, but im out of the country.. :guns:  im trying to get my parts together for a "restoration" when i get home.  thanks all, this forum is still the best!!  cheers!   :beers:

Just checked my '95.  The sway bar, measured in the center is 1 1/8"  (29mm).
95 YJ, 31 BFG ATs, 4.0 TB & spacer, Banks header, DynoMax CAT back, 19# inj, AEM CAI, 20 gal mod, Optima yellow
98 TJ, 35 BFG Krawlers, 4.0 liter, ax15, atlas 5:1, armor, Super 88 (under construction)
96 XJ Cheep Cherokee, 33s, 4.0 liter, AW4, future project
89 Waggy, 360 V8 727 dana 44s, it runs

Just curious, why do you need measurements?  Are you going to be building one from scratch or something?  There was only one size swaybar used on the YJ's.  It's the same one from 1987 to 1995.5.

Hey if you need a swaybar I'll give you mine.  Its just sitting under my work bench...most likely will go to scrap.

im getting parts together for my jeep so when i get back from iraq i can finish it. i want a polyurethane bushing master kit, and for some reason, for the yj they had two different sizes for swaybar's.  so i wanted to make sure.  thanks for the info!  i love this forum!!!  cheers!   :asshat:
