What do you think of these injectors your running? Looks like you have had some time to put some miles on them.

I like them since they were dirt cheap.  With the upgraded ignition, it does make a slight difference.  Overall the engine seems to run better.  One of the weird things I noticed was the exhaust note changed.  It's more throaty now.  I've had the Design I's in then went back to stock then went to the Design II's.

IIRC, lower end torque is a bit better as well as high-end HP.  It doesn't run out of gas when pushing the RPM's over 4000 as much as it did before.  Although keep in mind my spark plug gap is 0.065" with the PD Ignition.  The better atomization coupled to with wider gap seem to work well together.

I have even passed my SMOG Only Station Dyno Test.

Interesting on the exhaust sound change. Throaty is always better IMO.

My ignition is all stock. I wonder if these injectors would be to much with the weaker spark?

How often do you run your RPM's over 4K?

I let mine run to 4K but keep it there. I don't like it over 4K. I am sure it would be fine the redline is well over 4K.

Everytime I am due for plates I get the SMOG only test. I think I'm black listed, thanks Commifornia  :fitz:

Thanks for the update.

Over 4000?  Once a day?  If I change my airbox to a open filter, I can get the engine to freely rev to over 5000RPM.  Now, I try to keep it under 4500RPM.  Mostly it's when I'm trying to accelerate hard to get up to speed.  It will hold at 4000RPM till I'm able to merge in with traffic and shift into 5th and let it settle around 3000.

I'm not sure what's up since this last time I was forced to go to a Test Only.  Before that I went to the same place I did which happened to be a Test Only.  The time before that I went to a regular place.  I hate how test only stations try to screw you more then anyone else.  It's because you can't make a living from having just tests.  Really, I think CA should re regulate test pricing.  They have all made all of their money back from having to buy the new equipment already.
