Sold the 4 Cylinder YJ and Bought a Buggy
« on: December 16, 2008, 08:48:27 PM »
Well, I finally sold my YJ, and bought a buggy...

Sorry I did it guys... But I will always have a spot and total respect for the 4 cylinder jeeps out there.

This was my YJ that I took from Stock to this over about 6 or 7 years...  It was very hard to let her go, but with the wheeling that I do, and the wheeling that I want to do, I was gonna totally tear up the body on it, and I could not bring myself to do it.. So I found someone who will take care of her and I feel good about that..

I am very happy with it so far....   This was the direction I was going, and now I am finally there. I will turn it into a 4 seater next winter so my girls can wheel with me..

That's a great looking YJ, but an even sicker looking buggy  :naughty:

I've been back and forth about selling my rig for another Jeep, but I can't bring myself to it, I'd hate to see it get destroyed. It's nice to know you found someone who will care for yours  ;)

I'm seriously digging the buggy, I love the way the interior looks, so raw but clean  :naughty:

Thanks man.. I appreciate it. It was seriously hard to watch it drive off with someone else..
But I have wheeled the buggy a few times, and I really like it. :smokes:

Good looking buggy,  I'm sure you'll appreciate all the additional power.

Can't believe you did it, good luck with the new toy.

That YJ was always one of my favorite rigs.

I know a few people who have sold their rigs and really hated to see them go, but you do whatchu gotta do  :beers:

Now this is making me think if I want to build up my YJ or just wait for the funds for a buggy  :naughty:

Buggy's have a pretty high turn around.  I know a few friends who go through Jeeps and buggies like they're out of fashion.  They build them, drives them, then changes his mind then sells it to build a new one.  With the rockcrawling comp fad dying and the downturn in the economy, you can find good deals.
