I have a problem!  My drivers seat has kind of sunken in over the past 3 years since I am not a small framed individual and was wondering if there are any replacement cushions or what not that are suitable for larger individuals.   I'm not talking 500lbs, but more like 5'11" 250lbs with tree trunks for legs ha ha.   Sometimes I'll ride shot gun in my jeep if Im a bit too tipsy to drive home (the woman doesnt usualy drink) and when I feel the difference of the ride in my passenger seat.....I get jealous ha ha.    It hasnt sunken in from my girth yet

Best bet is having the seat bottom rebuilt at an automotive upholstery shop.  You can save a few bucks by removing the seat yourself and taking it in.

Yah they are adjustable...I had thought of that before.....     Perhaps if i just lost weight  ha ha.    Any way to reenforce them with concrete?

Having the seat rebuilt or finding another one that matches the color of your old one will be the cheapest. Or upgrade to some suspension seats like Mastercraft.

Ohhh....a wise guy eh?    ha ha.    Perhaps a crate IS a good idea!    Yah I will research my options a little and decide from there.    Perhaps a captains chair?   Yah...i can see that  I used to have a conversion van and those things made me want to take a nap while driving....sometimes a seat is TOO comfortable!

Here's what I have.  They're really buckety in that you drop into them.  They are very comfortable but kind of expensive.  Still, long drives aren't a problem.  They breath really nicely as well so you don't get all sweaty on top days.  They never get really cold either.  The only downside if there is one is that they do not recline.  Although I don't think I'd want them to.  I removed the sliders for the seats to drop them down an inch.  They are a lot taller at the front then the stock seats.

I've been having the same problem. I think I may just get some neon green skateboard wheels and longer bolts and make some spacers.

A seat not reclining is not a problem.....I pretty much drive with mine in the upright position as it is...id fall asleep if i reclined.   

I just wish they had stiffer springs and a thicker or more rigid cushion....my big ass has squished mine down some and I sit lower now.  I like riding a tad higher.

There is a kit that adds 1 inch risers under the seat mount to give you a bit of a lift. OR you can make your own.

The Mastercraft and other suspension seats have no spring to sag. They also have a wide version avail which are 2 inches wider than there standard seat. My PRP's are the same way.

You should be able to switch the seats. The controls are on the risers and sliders not the seat. The only one that will switch sides would be the recline but that shouldnt matter. It could also be fun to watch the women try to figure out what happend to the recline lever.
