Clutch?
« on: January 22, 2009, 06:54:02 PM »
My clutch just started doing this today.

When I try to put the Jeep into 1st I have a very hard time getting it in. But once it does if shifts fine like there is no problem.

But when I come to a stop and take it out of gear, then try to put it back into first it is hard to engage again?

Any idea's or thought's on what it could be or a simple fix?

So it's not going into 1st easy but it goes into all of the other gears OK?  If that's the case then it's not the clutch.

Is the weather any colder then usual?  My AX-5 has a hard time going into 2nd when cold when new.  Still, if the weather is really humid or hot, it sometimes has trouble getting into 1st without some force.
