Anyone ran/run a Blaster coil on their squirrels?
« on: January 23, 2009, 08:15:43 PM »
I've got a set of Design III 19# injectors coming that I bought off D42 and am thinking about buying a Blaster coil to slap on there at the same time. He linked me to the cheaper PD coil on Ebay, but being the impatient SOB I am, I figure I'll just get a Blaster coil... There's a local performance parts store here in town and I know a few people who are drivers, I'm pretty sure they'll hook it up with a discount for me  :hump:

Anyone run one though? I figure I might as well slap one on if I'm installing the injectors. I dunno... Maybe I'll slap in a new set of plugs and see how she runs before I follow up with more fire for the extra fuel. Anyway, input is appreciated  :smokes:

IIRC, the Blaster will require you to cut off the plug and wire it the old fashion way.  Personally, I'd just get the PD since it's plug and play.  You won't have to figure out a way to mount it either.
