What's the Year and Type of the Jeep?  Do all the lights turn on at least?

Non-blinking light wull usually mean a burnt out light or a bad flasher relay.

yeah, the two main brake lights work. hazard lights work. new bulbs. pulled the flasher out of the fuze panel and cleaned the prongs thinking maybe that would help, but no. all the lights turn on, running lights, front ambers turn on, dash panel lights work...its strange. its a 94 wrangler 2.5 liter. im assuming its something more than the flasher since the front blinker dosent even blink at all. also i might add that the turn signal switch just recently started not staying in the up position.

Well, it seems everything works right but the third brake light and the passenger side but only when turning.  Have I got that right?  I'd suspect the indicator switch or wiring to the switch.  Maybe try reseating the harness at the steering column for starters.

What points be in that direction is that the hazard's all work fine.  I suspect you've check the bulb in the 3rd brake?  Next would be the wiring.  I'd follow it back to the passenger side taillight.  I believe that's where it goes.  The problem has to be between the rear light harness and the light itself since the other brake lights work fine.
