O2 Sensor need
« on: April 28, 2009, 02:18:46 PM »
Anyone have a O2 sensor out there.  I have a 92 with the pacesetter header and the O2 sensor is junk from my last header burning out.  It's the sensor closest to the manifold.  I have no catalytic converter.

You'll probably want to buy one instead of hoping someone had a used one as they do require replacing over time.

On a YJ there is only one O2 sensor.  It does not matter what is or isn't downstream from it.

A new sensor will probably be around $50.

yeah I but the dust and bought one. I can't believe how bad the jeep runs without it, but then again I do have the 19# injectors so it's already running lean

Why would it run lean if you changed out to the #19 injectors ?
I thought the computer and sensors could compensate for this and other changes.

if you added 19# injectors you would have more fuel vus being rich not lean. the is until the computer adjusts of course.

I have had the 19H injectors, and never had a problem with running lean in over a year and a half I have had it...
