Hey guys I'm a newbie needing help
« on: May 29, 2009, 05:37:14 PM »
I've been reading the posts about the 19lb injectors and I got the yellow stage III off ebay.  I'm trying to put them on right now, but I can't get the O-rings to fit properly into the fuel rail. They keep trying to push up instead of fitting in the cavity. I've lubricated them with gas, but they keep pushing up, almost like the angle on the rail is wrong. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I just lubed them up with some gas then pushed the rail in.  They will bounce back some BUT you tighten the rail down and they will settle.

Make sure you wipe any carbon out of the intake while you're at it.

Thanks, Sorry about posting in the wrong spot. I'm pretty new to this kind of stuff.  Thanks again.

Some folks use Vaseline petroleum jelly to lube the O's.

I like using vaseline on mine.

Don't get to say that very often
